A $25 monthly commitment to sponsor a child at Mercy Christian Academy will help us give a quality Christian education to each and every student at our school! We now have an enrollment of over 230 students. About 90 of those students live at Mercy Home and the rest are local children from impoverished families here in Kaya village, Bungoma, Kenya. We currently have classes ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 10th grade.

The students who are admitted to MCA do not pay any fees, provide any supplies, or their uniform. All that is provided for them through your sponsorships. We do not recruit students from other schools, rather we only accept students who are unable to attend school due to the many fees that our local schools charge. MCA is 100% free of charge for all who attend. As we look towards the future, our goal is to expand our educational opportunities so that we can meet the needs of more children in our village. With the help of God and many loving folks we believe it is possible.

By sponsoring a student for $25 a month or $300 a year, you will be directly involved in insuring that a student(s)

-hears and knows the true Gospel

-eats two meals and a snack each school day

-has a qualified teacher who is paid a fair salary

-has all needed books and school supplies

-has a safe and clean place to attend school

Please pray about partnering with us and helping change a child’s life! It is very important to us to have an authentic Christian school. We have partnered with Rafiki Foundation and now use Rafiki's classical Christian curriculum for Pre-K through 4th grade. Because of the drastic difference in their curriculum vs the standard Kenyan curriculum, Rafiki has asked us to add one new grade level each year until our entire school is able to be on the Rafiki curriculum. We are very excited to be using this wonderful curriculum.

 By partnering with us you get to help us make devoted disciples of Jesus throughout the region in which God has placed us to serve! Christ and Him crucified is taught and preached in our school daily. While you may never meet these children (but you certainly can!) you have the ability to have a huge impact on their lives that will continue to bless them for years and years to come.
