A Mercy Ministries Service Truck!
Something we need that is not so glamorous to many but still will help us a lot is a good service truck. The old Pajero is not reliable and didn’t have the ability to haul as much as we need. This truck will bless Karson and bless us all with a way to carry tools and supplies and save us on transportation costs on many of those items.
Village Kids Christmas
We want to bless our village children who attend our Mercy Church weekly this year with something for Christmas. We are asking for your help to make this happen.
Kenya Food crisis
With serious inflation of double or more going on in Kenya on food and supplies, we are trusting God to bring along donations to help us feed our village children and families. Please click here to give towards this need.
New water well need
While it rains all around and we catch and use rain water also, our purified natural spring water from the well hasn’t been able to keep up with our growth. We must drill a second water well to supply Mercy Ministries campus needs. Click this button to visit our new 2021 water well fundraiser.

Classrooms Round 2!
Mercy Christian Academy still needs 2 more classrooms to support our 7th and 8th graders. Our massive school restroom project exhausted all our construction funds costing a lot more than planned due to the added septic system and other unexpected costs. We now need to start on the more predictable costs of the School Classrooms we need to build.

Food Storage Room Shelving Need
The time has come to really organize and set up the food storage room. As much food as we go through here we really need to set this room up like a grocery store, complete with metal shelving and heavy-duty plastic produce baskets. Please click button to learn more about this fundraiser need.
Dining hall Tables, Benches, Lighting
Due to needing to change our original design and idea for the dining hall we have gone way over budget. However, we still need to build 20 tables, 40 benches, set up a serving area for food and add some lights. click to learn more!
Mercy Church Sound System
Since the need to extend to the church pavilion to accommodate our growing church we now have a need for a real sound system. Previously we have been using a portable speaker and a couple of wireless mics. This set-up has been working okay, but now it is very hit and miss. MCA School Expansion Need
7th and 8th grade classroom expansion and flushing toilets for Mercy Christian Academy estimated cost is $18,000 by July of 2021.
We need to build 2 new classrooms and 20 new flushing toilets which will require another septic tank. Currently Mercy Christian Academy is made up 8 classrooms, 1 teachers office, 1 large pavilion and 15 pit latrines (non flushing toilets 🤮). This allows us to have Pre-K through 7th grade while using the pavilion as a classroom. Not super ideal, but it works and we are way ahead of where we thought we would be a couple of years ago. Praise God!
Adding 2 classrooms will free up the pavilion and allow us start the 2021 operating a full primary school by adding 8th grade. Adding an 8th grade classroom will allow us to accept more students into our school which means more children are getting an education and hearing and learning the Gospel on a regular basis. Currently our enrollment is 182 students.

Mercy Home Permaculture garden (Need is now met!)
Several months ago we learned about permaculture through another children's home not to far from us. After seeing how it works and all the different foods they are able to get from their garden we decided we want to give it a try.
